Alec left the club at the end of the 1990/91 season and returned when he was appointed club coach in 2010. In 2015 he took on the role as Club President. Alec was responsible for a reinvigoration of the club both on and off the field. During this time the club has celebrated the 2019/20 team of the of decade celebrations and Premierships in 2010/11, 2011/12, 2017/18. One Day Flags in 2014/15, 2016/17, 2017/18, 2018/19, 2019/20.
