OD-B Fall just short of T20 Flag

The OD-B side qualified top of their pool of the T20 competition and took on Phoenix in the Grand Final on Saturday.

Maddington won the toss and put Phoenix into bat. A couple of quick wickets saw Maddington in front until Phoenix's Craig Rourke scored 100, having a couple of let offs from dropped catches. Phoenix ended their 20 overs at 7/180, with Alec Lacey, Jeremy Visser and Shylesh Pillal each taking two wickets.

Maddington batsmen tried to chase the large score down, but fell 40 runs short. Ben Foot scored 46 runs, with Alec Lacey scoring an unbeaten 19 at the end of the innings.

Congratulations to all the OD-B players for making the Grand Final.
